Living Arts

Blank walls are a shared canvas and we’re all artists.

We provide an online gallery for the viewers, were they can access the art and the biographies of the artists. They can use this space for the events or exhibitions.

We help the viewers to have a full gallery of what they are looking for with aid of curators and catalogues. Meanwhile we help the buyers to find their choices by relocating and advisory.

About Us

The Living Arts was started in 2015 by the street artist Rusagara Benjamin, who is known as Ben Wang Shi. Together with his two colleagues Rukara Fazil and Shyaka Alain, they have started a street art movement in kigali. The purpose was for creating a space for artists and a platform for other forms of  art. Looking from the challenges artists in Rwanda face they took this initiative for making their art worthy living for. In their initiatives the aim is for promoting arts includes mural paintings, photography, sculptures, drawings, and fashion.

Good painting is like good cooking; it can be tasted, but not explained.

Every model is a living sculpture – art in-vivo

It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter.

I look at every piece of furniture as an individual sculpture.
